surging problem??

surging problem?? my car tend to surge and the engine jerk a bit cruising at between 1200~1600rpm in gear when I decelerate with gas pedal completely off, if I give it a little bit gas then the surge would go away though, so how should I go about getting rid of this problem with LS1edit? should I add few degree timing on Base Spark or High Octane table?? TIA.

Re: surging problem?? If you are going to be selectively pulling or adding timing you can do so with g/cyl.
Going with a typical LS1, I would make your timing to the High Octane Spark Table at points between 1200 and 1600 rpm at .08 to .16 g/cyl.

Re: surging problem?? What are your LTIMs and IAC count at? make sure those are ok before messing with your timing tables.
At 1200 rpm you may be out luck; side effect of a big cam. Who the f**k cruises at that rpm, anyways. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_tounge.gif" />
