Default Right bank missing, help!!!!

LS1 powered sandrail. Can't get it to run right on the right bank. Got spark and injectors are firing. It's been working fine, but after I did some welding on the frame, it won't run right. Could I have blown part of the computer? I've done welding on the frame before, and it ran fine after. I've reset the computer and even removed power completely overnight. If I pull the fuse for that bank, it idles smoother, but only on 4 holes. I've replaced the 02 sensor and reseated all the connectors for the MAF, MAP, crank position sensor, cam position sensor, idle motor, TPS, IAT and temp sensors.

Controllers don't take well to welding.

Maybe you already know, maybe you don't. When welding on anything that has electronics, ALWAYS disconnect any controllers (ie unplug all your sensors). Also, always use a remote ground and ensure that it is connected as close as possible to your welding point.

You might have blown your O2 controller (heater controller etc...). I don't know where that is located, but it is the only thing that I can think of that is bank specific. You may also want to try switching injectors and coil packs to the other side just to make sure that it is a sensor fault.

Good Luck

Kick-*** project by-the-way.

Getting spark, fuel and injectors are firing. Pulled the bank 2 plugs and they were soot fouled. Cleaned and no difference. Checking grounds now. It acts like it is out of time on the right bank. Pops out the exhaust some times and the exhaust is cool.

All grounds to PCM good. Heater voltage good to O2 sensor. O2 sensor output varies. WTF could cause timing to be off on only one bank? Me thinks PCM smoked on bank 2. Don't have access to a scanner right now.

Output checked good from the MAF, MAP, CMP, tried fooling the coolant temp input and IAT input. <img border="0" alt="[whiner]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cry.gif" />
