Eratic idle only in open loop If I start the car and it is in cell 20 (open loop idle) it jumps up and down about 300 rpm (surging). AS SOON AS it hits cell 19, it smooths out and idles perfectly. I have raised the idle timing 4 degrees and it still does this. I also raised the idle 100 rpm across the scale and it still does it. Is there anything else I can try? People keep asking me what is wrong with my car. Its most noticeable on a hot start when it sits in cell 20 for a few minutes before going to cell 19.
