Hot Cam Idle Problems Have a 2000 SS w/m6 the car idles fine without the a/c on, but with a/c or defrost the
the misfire count is driving me nuts , the shifter shakes the exhaust is rattles. The iac
count is about 10 to 14 with a 1/4 hole in the plate. With the scanner hooked up and idle is raised to 900 rpm it's liveable. Like I said with out the a/c comp. the idle is purrfect!! Is there a way just to raise the idle without getting edit ? or should I just keep drilling the plate. Any ideas.

Re: Hot Cam Idle Problems Have you done an idle relearn since installing the cam? I haven't had any problems with my hotcam and AC since doing this. It kicks right up when I turn on the AC.

guys have done this, but I didn't think it would help me because the car idled so well with the a/c off. I will try it tonight though, again thank you.
