EFILiveV5 Hello....
Ok I have purchased the LS1 edit software.
Do I need autotap or EFILiveV5 ?
What is the difference between the two ?

Re: EFILiveV5 If you have no need to scan non LS1 cars, I highly recommend EFILive5! I've used AutoTap, EASE and am now using 5 and it's the best around. Fast, accurate, auto-averaging and very customizable!

EFILive only works on LS1 cars but at a much faster update rate. It more detailed in what you can do(thus alittle harder to learn). The pro version adds bi-directional controls which allow temporary adjustments such as timing and AF while the PC is plugged in (they disappear as soon as you pull the plug). This is great for dyno work. You can then use LS1edit to burn the changes. As for price, there is GP on the LS1.com forum that is very good.
