dumb dumb mistake ok, I did the !FRA, and when I put the lid back on I forgot to put the IAT sensor back in the lid, I only drove about 10 miles..then put it back in..but the SES light came on....Will the ses go off next time i drive around..also what damage could I have done? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" />

Re: dumb dumb mistake You didn't do any damage...It just screwed up the timing for a little bit. You're fine. The SES light will not go off until you reset the computer. If you don't know how to reset it...turn the key to the acc position, pull the fuses PCM Ign and PCM Batt in the fuse box under the hood. Leave them out for 10 minutes. Turn the key off....Put the fuses back in. The car might not start for about 20-30 minutes. Give the PCM a few minutes to reboot / relearn.

Re: dumb dumb mistake Don't feel bad, Jeff, I too forgot to put the IAT sensor back in the lid . . . the SES light came on . . . shut the motor off, plugged it back in, and the light went off. I guess that our LS1 PCMs have minds of their own. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
