PCM wire code question

PCM wire code question I have a 1999 TA PCM still hooked up to a LS1 waiting to go into a 1990 Chevy truck. I have a couple of questions on the wiring harness pin names.... I read the PCM pin assigments in the FAQ section.....
1. C1 (red) pin # 46 says this is the "Malfunction indicator lamp control", is this the Check Engine Lamp ???
2. C2 (blue), pin # 34 says this is "PNP Switch Signal", what the heck is this ??
3. C2, pin#58 says this is " Serial Data", what the heck is this ??
4. Where does the VATS come in to the PCM (pins) ???
I can figure out most of the other pins, like Tach out, ingition pos. volt, batt pos. volt., ground and fuel pump relay control. Which are some of the wires I will be using. If you didn't notice I'm trying my hand at my own re-wiring the harness. We still have the donor car, does anyone know what the VATS box looks like or a part number for it, we still have the ing. key and steering shaft. Thanks a bunch

Re: PCM wire code question #1 yes ses light #2 Auto trans? park /neutral #3 This is the wire that goes to the data link connector for a scan to to read serial data #4 Not sure what pin it is but it will be titled "fuel enable" & vats module sends a specific frequenceny modulated signal to pcm for the run signal. I don't have a manual at home so I'm goin off memory here double check a f-body engine performance wiring diagram. Hope this helps.
