LS1 EDIT: go to spark retard limit
i just set mine timing to 20 in the 5000-6600 cells so it wouldnt drop below that during shifts <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

Re: Torque Management Removal
So you changed the values from '-10' to postive 20 ? So the stock programming will allow it to go fully 10 degrees retarded ! I had zeroed out the two tables in a4 shift firmness to remove torque mgmt, but hadn't touched this spark table yet.. is it necessary? Or will this spark table only come into play with knock retard because I zeroed the other two trans cal. tables.
Thanks,

Re: Torque Management Removal
I'm skeptical of changing the spark retard limit to 20. Noone knows for sure if that table only deals with tq mgt. If something happens in the engine and the computer can't retard timing lower than 20* b/c of detonation or something then you may cause engine damage b/c of your own tuning.
I zeroed all the tq mgt tables and firmed up my shift points and see no tq mgt at all.
