ok...my car has developed a very annoying problem.
Randomly...while driving...the temp gauge just quits working for a couple of seconds at a time...when the happens the car almost shuts off...then loads up real bad. Sometimes it will just do once or twice a trip...but other times it does it constantly. I hooked to a tech 2...and i am getting a po118..high voltage coolant temp sensor...any help or suggestions will be greatly aprreciated!!!

 

On the drivers side of the car there will be a sensor plug right above the #1 sparkplug. The #1 plug is the plug closest to you on your right when you first lift the hood. Check the connections of this sensor, ensure that it is plugged in all the way and the wires to it are not damaged.
