adjustable knock desenstizer i am having problems with knock retard and tried the resistor thing, i only went with 20% reduction and it helped alot. i am still seeing some kr and don't know if it is real or not, tried the race gas thing and it is still there. i need to do more testing.
i built an adjustable knock desentizer box to help me figure this out, i got all the parts from radio shack for about $20. i went with 0%, 20%, 25%, 30%, 35% and 40%. the parts were a 6 positon rotary switch, project box and a bunch of resistors. it also has the 2 resistor thing so it shouldn't set off any codes. seems like something others might want to try.
