tune theory question....fat = more timing?
Lets hear your guys thoughts.
If you would like to have your car for the next 20 years, then go slightly rich with as much advance as possible.
If you want Nitrous, go rich with about 1 deg retard per 50 shot.
If you want Boost, go pig rich with around 20 deg advance (I think <img border="0" title="" alt="[Embarrassed]" src="gr_emb.gif" /> )
On the dyno, you will run a little richer than you will on the street, so it is generally accepted to dial the car in at around 13.0 a/f. 13.4 on the dyno may be a little too lean once you get it on the street.
Understand though, that it is not a universal setting. Some cars may see more power from a 12.8 a/f. It depends on the car, but on the dyno, most find their "sweet spot" between 12.8 to 13.2 a/f at peak horsepower.
