Re: HPP3 .... Is is worth it ? Depends what you're trying to accomplish I guess. Powerwise? Well for me it was beneficial as I'm having low-timing issues as a result of false KR. Using the HPP3 programing, even with the less than 4* KR still present, put my timing back at ~ stock levels (verified via ATAP). If your timing is already where it should be, you may encounter pinging and the tuning will hinder instead of help.
It does have some other useful features though like fan/gear/speed limiter/rev limiter adjustment that are pretty useful depending on your plans. Or if you have an automatic, recalibrating the shift points/firmness helps with lowering ET's.
Plus I've seen them sell pretty cheaply in the For Sale section lately, so if you get a good price and you're not looking to rewrite the whole PCM and the price LS1 edit brings with it, it can be a useful, cheap, tool.
