Just installed an LS2 402 and it runs rough.
Also, not related to tuning and off topic but about the oil leak. I am new to the whole manual trans world so this is going to sound stupid but here goes.
When the tranny is in nuetral, does the clutch disk spin and have friction with the flywheel? I am concerned as to whether I am soaking the clutch with oil if my oil leak is coming from the oil plug in the back of the crank. Also, the tranny is very low on fluid as I have not refilled it yet due to the possibility that I will have to pull the tranny back out if the oil is coming from that oil plug in the crank.
If you are running the maf, the computer knows how much air is coming in. Doesn't matter if its a 402, timing calculations will be off a little. Bottom line is if you open the throttle stop a little, it should idle at 1K pretty decent.
I hope to be getting the HPTuner software on the 16th or 17th if they ship on the 15th as promised. I will be giving it my best shot at an SD tune.
Question, I am getting a misfire code now but there is no misfire when I check for a misfire. What could this be? Also, aren't the rear O2's missing supposed to set a code? I am not getting a code for the missing O2's. Other than that, everything is great for still having a stock tune.

Regarding SD. From all that I have read, you can get more power out and fine tune it better (in my climate). I live in South Florida so my altitude never changes (sealevel +/- 5 ft). My temp goes from 45 to 95 F. Humidity goes from 100% to 80%. But most of the year it is between 70 and 80 F. I have heard that you can really get one of these 402's tp pur.
LS1 is

The extension looks straight through

PIN B = pnk
PIN C = red
The problem is that on the front cover where the cam sensor is is wired. (pin "A" and "C" are reversed).
