Shift Points and Tire Height???

Shift Points and Tire Height??? OK, A4 and HPP3 ... been looking at my shift points vs. my tire height. I've set my shift points(1-2@+1/2-3@+2) with my HPP3 based on a 25.75 tire height installed.
But, looking at tire height, speed and RPM ..if I'm running a 27" tire at the track I may actually be shifting about 300 RPM earlier than I intended - trying to shift just before 6000 RPM.
Basically the question is, am I understanding this right?? Thanks.
