Default reseting my ecu

i bought this car with 36,000 miles on it and was wondering if i shoudl do the whole pullign fuses to reset the ecu thing. I think the car could run better cause it seems to be slower than a few with the same bolt ons.... So what do I need to do other than the process on ls1.com????

The process on LS1.com pretty much covers it.

Moving to Computer section.
