Default Diablo - Help

I am about to purchase the Diablo programmer and was wondering if there was a limit to how far you can advance your timing and air fuel ratio. The reason is because my air fuel ratio is way to rich (10.4-10.6) at wide open.

You really don't want a predator for those modificatons, unless you are going to just use it as the tune device, and have a reputable shop tune it, the canned program is far too agressive for that combination. I would give James @ RWTD a call and see what he can do for you, if your locked into buying a predator.

the programming on the predator runs too much timing for your setup. If you're buying it to have someone do one of their custom or "email" tunes it’ll be okay. But for that price you might want to get a dyno tune instead.

According to their website they say you can adjust timing and fuel +/- 20%. So that's like 3-5 degrees of timing to play with depending on the original value. And for the fuel 20% would bring you well into the 12.xx AFR, assuming the fuel trims aren't way out of whack.

Either way just don’t put the stock predator program on it

If you just took the predator out of the box and programmed your car it would be running too much timing for a boosted car since the predator is designed for stock cars. Does that make sense? It has the ability to upload other tunes via email or a dealer.

Yeah the dyno tune should get everything straight.

i have the same problem, i have apredator hand held with a custom tune,z06 injectors and cam,and intake,i want to boost it,so the tune in it now would have way too much timming, so can i get a tune from them for 6-8#boost with 42#injectors,or should i just sell the predator with the computer, scince there locked together, to someone with a n/a hybrid(no egr no rear o2s)and get a different computer and buy a efi live and go from there?THANKS
