Shift points for 98 LS1 camaro

Shift points for 98 LS1 camaro I have a 98 Z28 LS1 and an A4. With 2.73's for a few weeks till my SLP diff. and 3.73's get here. But Im going to the track tomarrow and my car is shifting at 5700 and i think thats pretty low. I have a power progammerIII and I was wandering what would be the best shift points. Any help would be greatly appriciated Im a new guy to the sport of drag racing. Thanks alot

Re: Shift points for 98 LS1 camaro You really think you need to shift that high? Most cars ive seen are only peaking on hp about 5300-5500. Usuaully 5900 in first and 6000 in 2nd seems to work well

my 2-3 was around 6000
its no need to run the car anything about 6 if you have stock internals
i went 11.9's stock internally with those above shift points...

like i am w/ stock internals.
and look at my times w/ my mods and that was with KR. so i know im good for better times.
