Do I need both? Or does ls1 edit do what autotap does also?

 

I think autotap is mostly for logging data, Edit lets you re-flash the eeproms in the pcm with your setting changes...

 

You need both.

LS1 Edit, and some form of logging data. Autotap is just one program that is capable of data logging.

 

atap: read how car is running. After analizing atap use edit to make the car run better. Then use atap to see how the car is running after programming. The 2 work together <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
