I would like to know if thier is an alternative to tricking the computer of my car into believing that thier is a cat without using O2 sims?

Will that hurt the motor at all if I just eliminate the light? I was told that the car would run a little rich. Is that true? Als how would I get my hands on LS1 edit?

I was wondering about this too. How does the ECM respond if you just ignore the code? At some point the ECM is watching the rear O2's for something (I don't know what) and there must be a default when it doesn't get a signal back.

Who has done this? I am going to do it soon, and I'm having hard enough time tuning it without having another variable to worry about.

Thanks for the info.

Both post cat o2's are for monitoring catalytic converter efficentcy only. They have no part in closed loop fuel control. Will not hurt anything.
