Default ls1 in custom rod?

I just purchased a ls1 02-vette engine complete with wiring harness & computer. Im planning on putting it on an 87 Monte Carlo. I don't want to use the ac, oxygen sensors, or the smog pump. Do I have to get the computer reprogrammed?,and will it start if i dont. Also the guy I bought it from gave me two fuse boxes, he said they were from the vette, are these of any use. Also do I have to buy another wiring harness or will the one I have work.

You can have the stock harness worked for about $350. On another note you will need to either convert the vette throttlebody to an F body one or get the pedal assembly from the vette as it is drive by wire.
