Default Backfire

I installed some SVO 42lb injectors and now I get a backfire on decel as well as gear changes (happens mostly from a cold start and goes away after I drive for awhile). I adjusted the injector flow rate, but nothing else so far. What are some common causes and remedies for this? Thanks!

What tuning package are you using?

Poping, raz, on decel is indication of excess fuel lighting off in the exhuast pipes - aka rich condition.

Double check your new IFR table using RedHardSupra's spreadsheet (found in the read me first stickie).

When the IFR table is right, you can start adjusting the VE table.

I'm using HP Tuners 2.0. On the injector spreadsheet a couple questions. On the "injector rated fuel pressure," what is this value? I'm using the SVO 42lb injectors. On the "your fuel rail pressure," I'm assuming this is 58 psi. On the "injector rated flow rate," I'm using 42 lbs right? Basic stuff I know, but I want to make sure I'm starting at the right point. Thanks.

I think they are rated @ 42.5 psi
