? on speed density tune
I read a post where everyone was saying Granatelli maf sensors are junk and to go to a SD tune. What is involed in doing this? What do i need for this, i need to retune anyway.

check out the stickies, there's a link on the procedure
Basically it involves disabling the MAF which causes the car to go into a failover mode (which happens to be Speed Density) ... then the VE table is tuned to represent accurate airflow under various loads and RPMs.
Once the VE table is gold, you can hook the MAF back up and change the MAF talbes so they accurately reflect the incoming air

well.. a well done SD will theoretically make more power since you can get rid of the MAF which is a restriction
However I haven't seen any side by side comparisons personally...
I like running SD because my car seems to run better with it... throttle transitions are perfect, good idle, and it eliminates the MAF as a possible error in data for the PCM
