Auto Tap Palm Unit? Nay or Yea?

Auto Tap Palm Unit? Nay or Yea? I am intrested in buying Auto Tap and I don`t have a lap top. I do have access to a desk top but I am not about to lug a big @ss computer and full size monitor out to my car. I wanted to know if anyone has the Auto Tap hand held palm unit. Can I perform the same the functions on a palm unit as a lap top. I got on the Auto Tap web site and could not get a price on the palm unit. Dose anyone know the price of the palm units? If a lap top dose not cost much more I might as well get a lap top so I can run LS1 edit in the future. Money is tight so if the palm unit is worth it and alot cheaper than a lap top, I will go palm unit for sure. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />
