EFI Live & Auto Tap Issues?

EFI Live & Auto Tap Issues? I keep getting a error message that says;
You are using hardware that does not match what you registerd for. Make sure you are using hardware with the serial number ######.
There was no Registration # given for A-tap, just EFILive and I tried that one and it does not work either.
with EFILive I get;
23:42:18:480: Connected to Com1 using baud=19200 paridy=N data=8 Stop=1
23:42:18:060: Interface hardware: 'Unknown' is not supported
I have tried everything I know and cant get it to work. The EFILive Pro also will not work.
Very fustrated,

Re: EFI Live & Auto Tap Issues? I had the same problem ,did you hook it to the car first.If you don't, you will get that problem I just regestered the EFI Live while I had it hooked up to my car and the key was on .And it fixed it hope that helps

The issue was once you coppy the folder over from the update 5.26.1. You have to go in and DE-select the "read only" and I changed the Flow controle to "hardware" and it came right up!
Now just have to learn some values. The first one is a better way to get an acurate AF ratio. Mine is 14.6 & 11.9 with no inbetween!
