Got my first dyno run today - 309.9 hp and 325.6 TQ - good #'s for the free air mod and a K&N filter and descreened MAF. Well I guess descreening the MAF has now caused me to run rich - First run was just above 14 - lean - but think the ground was loose cause TQ cut out. 2nd and 3rd runs were the same results - bouncing 12.2-12.5 till 4kRPM then dropped to 11.8/11.7. How bad and how much of a effect is this????

It was my understanding that descreening made you a little leaner due to unmeasured air getting through the maf. I know if your still running the cat protection then you'll see the 11.x:1 range in the high rpm's so that's probably where that's coming from. Due you have a good cat-back on it yet? Might be a good investment if not.

No only mods are the coldair / K&N / and de-screened MAF. Planning on a QTEC.
I want to get a lid and port thr MAF and TB. Would a MAF Translator be able to compensate for these or would I need to get LS1 Edit to adjust?
