Re: Odometer Question
hmmm.. several ways actually
Leave car in park or neutral on flat surface
Pull the PCM out... wont put any miles on the car then <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
Remove the transmission
Put really short gears in the car (like 0.000001) and it will barely acrue miles...

Re: Odometer Question
You can cut the speedo signal wire but you'll obviously loose the speedo too.

If you want to maintain speedo without gaining mileage then the solution, if any, is in the speedo/odometer assembly. Dunno more.

Re: Odometer Question
My God, this thread was debated in depth either here, external or driveline sections. Search back and you'll find, it has all the "I know's" and "?" you could possible want. Good-luck.
