Hey, I have the same problem. Not sure if it lights up the LED or not, but mine will work fine, then all the sudden read a constant 11:1 no matter what driving conditions. I already replaced my sensor at innovate's advice. Didn't fix it. Next up is the controller.

Why not build/install a heat sink per the LC-1's directions?

2.3 How to fabricate a copper heat sink
Use a 4” x 4” (10cm x 10 cm) sheet of copper sheet metal 14ga (1.5mm) thick. Drill a hole in the center with the same diameter of the oxygen sensor threads ~3/4” (19mm).
Fold the sides up 45 deg and mount it between the sensor and the bung like you would a big washer. Orient it such that the sides are exposed to good airflow.

that is what i am talking about.

the bung is located in the 10/11 oclock position on the leg of the drivers side ypipe that goes to the y collector. it is 2/3 of the way toward the merge

believe it or not the fatotry air dam will channel alot of air to the radiator but push the rest out of the way, then you got the motor, suspension, etc...

Let me know how the heat sink works. I am having the same problem with overheating. The dreaded E-8 code. I have a heads/cam car and it never overheated until I started spraying nitrous. It's really pissing me off because I cant read my air/fuel during nitrous use and that's when I need it the most!

I cant believe it would actually be overheating in that location, especially considering the mods and afr. Perhaps there's a malfunction in the heater control circuit or something along those lines. fwiw, i've used mine in the summer heat located in the collecter and it never popped up any codes.

mine is doing the same thing. I tried recalibrating it using it but it didn't help. I tried ordering a new one yesterday but Innovates website was messed up. I guess I'll try again tomorrow

Although I don't have the heating issue all the time, my HBX-1 should be here today, so I'll give it a try and see how it works.
