Vinci Tuner Question for Mrr23
Hi
Re 98 Camaro, Mac headers and K&N induction:
My tuner is on the way. I had to send it back to get it reset to work with my operating system. Rodger and Joe were very helpfull.
Just woundering how the hi-performance tune (stock cam) will affect my A/F.
Currently:
start @ 14.7
12.6 at 3800 rpm
13 @ 4600 rpm
12.9 @ 4700 rpm
Unfortunately my dyno graph does not go much over 4700 rpm. It looks to be gradually slopping richer over 4700 rpm. I was told this AF was fine, but a little on the rich side. 12.6 does seem a little rich for a bolt on car.
Any idea where the stock cam tune might leave it? I was told that 13.2 was about where it should be. I know the stock cam tune will lean it out intentionally. I do not have an AF gauge and cannot seem to fine a good dyno service in my area. Will it make it leaner then 13.2? Any help appreciated.
Thanks JA
