Default How do you eliminate missfire codes...

I set my car to idle at 850 and now I am getting missfire codes, if I raise the idle to 975 they go away. What do I change with LS1 edit to remove missfire codes?

Default Re: How do you eliminate missfire codes...

Go to engine diagnostics and to the hardware diagnostic tag and toggle off in both boxes the misfire detection P0300 make sure to toggle both boxes to off, then go to the test parameters and set the detection temp to max 140 and min 139. That should take care of it if not there is some settings in the detection tables you can max out but try this first it should do it. I just learned this a few weeks ago and it took a while to find the right thread on the board so hear you go glad I can pass the knowledge to someone else who needed it. LS1 edit rocks!!! Good luck.
