How to determine SES codes?

I picked up the car from the dealer today (had a clutch installed) and before i got home the SES light started flashing. Is there some way i can check what code it is without having AutoTap?

It's called an OBDII scan tool or drive to Auto Zone. Flashing lite means damage to cats is on the way.

Autozone will do it for free. They'll clear the code too if you ask, even though they aren't supposed to.

A flashing SES is -usually- because of an ignition problem. -most likely plugs/wires.
Suggestions about having the codes pulled are good. I would go over all the coil/plug connections, then go have the codes pulled AND reset.
