idle problem
sometime i have a probelm geting my car to idle right. almost everytime i put it into reverse it dies. the person before me had tune it them self. i dont know how good of a tune it was but i guess its better then nothing. when the car does idle it sits around 1k. i have a comp cam 224/224 581 114lsd cam. is this due to a tune problem or should i make the hole in my TB bigger?

running air flow It's gonna be the main table to optimize for idle issues.
I have almost the exact cam you do (mines 225 duration). That idle seems a little high. I have mine set at 800 park and 725 in gear. It sounds real nice.

What changes should be made to the raf to make it idle smoother. My car idles great when its been warmed up but when I start it I have to play with the gas pedal for about 20-30 seconds till it will idle.

yeah dont let anyone else tune it for the same price you can get hp tuners or live for. if u need help you can always post scans and tunes and ask for help. you can read the help files as well to see more detailed stuff on tuning. that cam should idle so smoother without much more rpm than stock
