Default Idle hanging up

Alright guys, my idle's been hanging up ever since I adjusted my set screw after I had the car tuned to get my IAC's down to a more reasonable level. It happens usually for the first 10 min I'm running the car or so when I come to a stop ... most of the time after the cars been running a while the car eventually learns the new IAC position needed to hold idle ... but once I turn off the car and turn it back on again, the same cycle happens all over again. Unplugging the IAC motor cures the problem 100%. Now I've got EFILive, and I've done the RAFIG and copy/pasted that into my Desired Airflow table, and that didn't fix the problem. I logged my Throttle Follower, and that doesn't seem to be whats holding the idle up ... Does anyone have any ideas on what else I could change or decay faster to help this problem other than just running with the IAC motor unplugged?

Throttle position is reading 0% at idle, and I just noticed that my TPS voltage was reading .7 at idle. My IAC steps max out at about 168 ( I think thats the highest I logged).

Guess I did just turn it too far, and need to turn it down alil bit. Can't beleive I didn't notice the voltage after all this time of wondering wtf was happening

Lemme see if that fixes the problem, thanks!

Is there no way to reset the TPS sensor, so that it learns the new 'closed' position as the idle voltage? (which from what i've found is .6v)

Ok, just got the TPS sensor voltage to read .6 at idle. It's reading 0% for throttle position. Took it for the first drive and the rpms returned to idle as soon as I put the clutch in.

Stopped, and turned off the car ... cranked her back up and ... viola they were hanging High again. I applied my RAFIG table to the RAF table and reflashed the PCM with that ... I'm about to go out to dinner ... guess I'll find out if this fixes it or not ...

Seems to have fixed the problem ... in my drive to dinner and back it hung up 100rpm too high for a split second at one of the 15 stop lights I sat at ... so it seems to have fixed it. Thank you very much!

i had the same problem after installing the ported TR TB...... the problem was too much air geting by the throttle plate as it had been adjusted for a larger cam..... i backed out the screw on the TB and closed the gap on the TB..........problem solved..................just gota tweek it a bit to get the idle up a bit............

PS do the idle learn process as stated in the service manual
