Default Anyone with an '02+ PCM seen this behavior with timing

This post is a follow up to this one
ls1 edit/efi live timing bug or just me

I have found that something is adding about 4* of timing to the advance table after I hit about 3600 rpms. This same issue has been observed by others on '02 cars, but most people seem to just work around it by compensating for the extra 4*. Is anyone familiar with this issue?

I'm working around it now, but it is a real pain since it does not seem to always add exactly 4 degrees (and no, it is not the IAT table). It may also be specific to FI cars that push into the 1+ gm/cyl range.

When you say "not always 4 degrees", is the value always 4 degrees +/- 0.5 degrees?
I have seen spark advance figures out by 0.5 degrees possibly due to rounding errors.
So if you can confirm that the value is +/- 0.5 degrees from what you expect let me know.
It may help us solve a different issue.

Thanks
Paul
