Default How can you tell if torque management is a problem

I just installed a st3500 converter and transgo shift kit and I also have 410 gears. My question is how can you tell if the torque management is a problem? what does it drive like. So far it runs great, I guess I am wondering is it possible that it wont effect me. I only have a hypertech for computer mods. Thanks

The PCM computes "delivered Torque"
Using a scanner ( forget atap it is flawed for this parameter) scan this and if you see negative DelTq values and your in a fuel cell that is when on gas pedal then torque management has kicked in.
The ONLY other time there would be negative delTq values is when you have lifted off the gad pedal.

It's not something you can always feel (some say they can). Record scan data during a 1/4mile run is the surest way. At the shifts, you can see timing take a dump (I've personally seen mine as low as 4deg) That's the "abuse mode" kicking in!
