Shift firmness in LS1 edit After my most recent tune last week, something different is happening with my transmission's shift firmness. When I'm driving normally, the shift firmness is the same as stock, but as soon as I start driving aggressively, it seems to go into a different mode, and then the next time I'm accelerating slowly from a light, the shift firmness seems to be set very high. It's as if there is a secondary program which kicks in once I begin driving aggressively and it ups the shift firmness until I shut the car off. Then when I start it the next time it goes back to normal again.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a second shift firmness setting which only kicks in harder after you've been driving it hard? Full throttle isn't even necessary to kick it into this mode, even half throttle seems to do it.
