Any one ever hurt your batt using hypertech? One time I used the programmer the battery almost died and it never was good after that. I have a new batt, just wonder if I'm going to mess it up.
Does hypertech overwrite anything done with ls1edit by the shop?
I'm trying to set it to shift at 5500 rpm. The turbo motor isn't makeing any power over 5500 rpm without the turbo and I want to get it close to right before I hit the track. Should I leave the rev limiter the same and just lower mph shift points?

Re: Any one ever hurt your batt using hypertech? I have been using Hypertech for about 3 years, never had a problem. I have also never heard of anyone else having such a problem. Also, with the programmers, they upload the info that is in your computer and download their new info into the pcm replacing the factory. I hope this helped a little
Re: Any one ever hurt your batt using hypertech? Battery must be fully charged to use Hypertech. Also, a old, or battery on it's way out will not cut it. I've had HPP3 on my '99 SS and my '02 SS. Always changing things around at the track trying different combos. Even w/underdrive pulley--never any problems. You must have had a bad battery, or a charging system problem.
