A friend has a 01 silverado and messed up his wifes blow dryer. He is putting it with a WOT switch to the k&n filter to blow air into the maf and tube. He claims it should be a mini supercharger, will this work? or will it lean his condition and mess up his motor. He should be done friday.

He is not REALLY doing this is he????
If so, he has to be one of the dumbest people in the world. All a hair dryer is going to do is slow down the intake velocity.
Sorry to be so mean, but this has been an ongoing "thought" that pops up every now and again

a hair dryer blows like 130* air, that wont help anything at all.ll he going to intercool it? lol.
as above its far to small to give any gain, even right off idle.. it probably moves 50cfm or so and the truck needs 500
