To edit or not to edit???

To edit or not to edit??? I've seen a lot of people ask whether they need to edit their cars or not, and some people have said that you can get gains from editing a stock car. So my question is, I have a 99 TA w/6spd, K&N FIPK, LS6 intake, Mac Headers w/offroad y-pipe and simms, ported MAF, and have removed the AIR tubes, and EGR systems. Where should I start tuning???

Re: To edit or not to edit??? What are your LTFTs? What are your O2s reading at PE/WOT? What's IPW? Is there knock retard? Any misfires? Is torque management hurting you? How's MAF airflow? What's coolant temp? On and on. Where you begin tuning is by scanning your car. You need data before you can think about tuning.
Re: To edit or not to edit??? There is definitely some gains to be had with your setup. First off you need to scan with autotap so you know what's going on. Then you will know what needs attention. there is some good info at http://ls1edit.slowcar.net/

First thing first, find out where you are on the LTFTs and more. Get a scanner like AutoTap. I dont mean to push ATAP specifically, but that is what I have for a scanner tool.
