Re: Can you turn ABS off? Who needs ABS anyway. Just get a hacksaw and cut off your break pedal. Next get a torch and cut a BIG hole in your floorboard. Now you can stop Fred Flintsone style AND you can even have simulated ABS if you let the heel of your shoe skip over the pavement real quickly. It even leaves those hyphenated rubber streaks on the roadbed like someone that actually has ABS would leave when they lock up those DAMN ABS brakes we all hate so much.
Re: Can you turn ABS off? i have heard you can pull the E-brake handle one notch, and it will light the brake light
(disableing DRL's as well), also the side effect is it will disable your abs brakes.
So you can give that a shot if you want.

Re: Can you turn ABS off? Ive tried the E brake trick before and it didn't work. What happens if I decide not to get ABS with a 12 bolt then? I was thinking about just unpluging all the ABS senors, although im not sure where the front ones are exactly.
