evap purge/system removal?

evap purge/system removal? i want to remove the evap system on my car, i need the room for my boost controller port.
i have an evap leak (code) now, so its pretty much worthless since im leaking to atmosphere now anyhow right?
so im thinking about just turning the code off and thats it..
ive been running the car around with it unplugged and everythign seems to run fine, even manually purged it myself with no noted buildup in the line, so why not hack it? thanks!
no i dont need to pass inspecion (farm use <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> )
