Flickering Shift light

Flickering Shift light Well i just installed a Proform shift light and for some reason the light flickers on and off below 1200 RPM's and at idle. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" /> Any time i am above 1200 RPM it works properly, anyone have an idea of my problem?

Re: Flickering Shift light Ive got it set for 4 cyl mode, and its got a solid ground and power. Im beginning to think its the light malfunctioning. Its like its not getting enough voltage at the lower RPM's.
Re: Flickering Shift light Mine does the same d@mn thing. with throttle it works fine. when i got off the throttle it will blip at me 3 or 4 quick pulses. It is in 4 cly mode as well.

Re: Flickering Shift light Ive heard that the computer puts out a signal that is too low of voltage for the shift light to recognize. I called Proform today and he said to send it back, but honestly i dont know what is wrong. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />
