Ok, finally got the program and have read the user handbook but it doesnt say anything in there about how to actually READ a file. tells you how to open one you already have. I dont know anything about the tuning side of this game but need to get a file copied of my tune that i have. any help is greatly appreciated. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

There is a program that gets installed called LS1Prog. You need to run it. Key on, engine off, wait 10 seconds. Select Read PCM, and then create a file name (Stock or something like that). Then hit Action... Connect...
It should take off reading your PCM. You may have to select the right COM port on your laptop (under Setup). Not a lot of options in LS1Prog, so it's pretty self explanatory.
It takes about 15 minutes to read the file out of the PCM. Once you have this file, you can open it (and save it as a DIFFERENT file name - your backup of the 'stock' file is essential!) in the editor.
