Throwing code! please help!
Throwing code! please help! My car is throwing the PO420(catylist system efficiency below threshold, left bank)
I purchased both the L & R pre cat o2's.(will put them on tomorrow)
Should this fix the prob? My car is a 2000 driven daily with 84K.
Was also wondering, i recently installed the K/N FIPK. Could this factor in??
E.Boggs summed it up on another post, but can anyone else shed any light?

Re: Throwing code! please help! Its telling you that your drivers side cat is not working right. Changing the pre cat O2s will have nothig to do with that. You either have a bad cat, or the drivers side after cat O2 is not working right.

Re: Throwing code! please help! That is what I thought. I took out my cats and put off road pipes on with 02 sims and reset the computer and the code came on again. I don't know how P0420 came on with the 02 sims in. Any ideas??
