MAFT Help I just picked up a MAFT for my 99 t/a. Last weekend I dynoed 338hp & 347tq w/ 4* of KR. Using the wideband o2 test when I dynoed, my A/F was 14.8. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="gr_sad.gif" /> I've never used a MAFT, and am unfamiliar with them. This may be a dumb question, but the instructions don't seem to be the best.
Knowing that my A/F is 14.8. My timing was 25* (I think), and I was getting 4* of KR... How should I set it up. Using their little charts, I assume I should set the MAF WOT at 2% to get my A/F down to around 12.8-13.1? And what about the SPARK BASE & SPARK WOT? ...not to mention MAF BASE? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

Re: MAFT Help Better be real careful with that A/F at WOT. Set your MAF BASE to like 2% rich and you can adjust te WOT after each run on the dyno, but you'll probably have to adjust to 4-6% rich or more.
As far as the unclear instructions, I know what you mean. Use the label under the lid.

Re: MAFT Help Also remember to set up the BASE first before attempting to adjust the WOT <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> which will mean another trip back to the dyno to know for sure where your A/F is at WOT.
