Hypertech after tuning?

Hypertech after tuning? I have a hypertech power programmer for my 98Z, after I had heads/cam done MMS reprogrammed my computer for the new heads/cam as well as my new moser rear and whatever else they do at the time of custom tuning. Well the tuning has been great and I dont need my hpp3 anymore, can I sell it? I know your supposed to hook it up to the car and remove its tuning, but when I hook it up wont it reset my gears to 2.73 which is what it was when it was stock? Anyone know if I can just hook it up and it will tell I dont have the tuning anymore and will reset itself? Thanks!

Re: Hypertech after tuning? unless they return your stock program to your pcm, the hpp3 won't revert. there is some way to do it but you have to call hypertech. then you could sell it to someone else.
