Custom Burnt Chip
It's currently programmed with a Hypertech programmer and I'm going to get a custom chip burnt next week. I know he can do the gear ratio, tire size, air/fuel ratio, rev limiter, and shift firmness. I'm wondering whether he can change the transmission fuel line pressure all through the the rev band. He's going to do dyno runs and tune the whole car for optimum performance. We're installing a fuel pressure regulator (FMU) since these cars are known to need more fuel from 4,000-6,000 rpm range anyways.
My question is whether anyone has gone to the custom chip option and had this same thing done? If so, what exactly did he program to account for the transmission fuel line pressure. Should I put the set of stock maf ends (just descreened) and leave the car this way or leave the ported one's on.
Help me guys--I'm droping like $500 <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />
