thoughts on A/F/R tuning
Most people have been using the MAF transfer function for tuning no/low load ltft's and PE-RPM
scale for WOT , has nobody thought about just using the injector offset table for the whole
power range????
Just a thought I wanted to bounce off the experienced here

Re: thoughts on A/F/R tuning
just an update:
not that anyone cares but......
I have had more success tuning with the injector offset table than with the maf table.
Using the same % scaling technique, seems to produce more accurate results.
AGAIN this is for a over-all fuel adjustment
you will still need to tweak your PE table for
WOT fine tuning.
Just wanted to follow up

Re: thoughts on A/F/R tuning
Thanks, I have been wondering where to tune for partthrottle/cruise A/F's. Didnt like the idea of using the maf tables. Loks like there is an option. May take both tables to get dead on.

Re: thoughts on A/F/R tuning
when I adjusted the table
I had no major deviation from Idle to full throttle
bank1 stayed around -2 and
bank2 stayed around -1
through the whole powerband
now my ltft's before were very steady
at 4 to 5
but yes I did not like the idea of "fooling" the computer with the maf table
It seemed more logical to mess with actual injector time.

Re: thoughts on A/F/R tuning
I also used the Injector table and it works great. I scaled it down 93% and my LTFT are right a -1
I then adjusted PE VS RPM for WOT adjustment.
What a difference!
