tunning problem
tunning problem well i mailed out my pcm to jesse bubb (wait4me) and well i noticed when i leave the MAF unplugged my car runs really nice and strong...so i ask, and he mentions SD tune. which is fine and all, then i read about weather being an issue with SD tune and all, well i went from 12.5 to 13.0 cus of weather, i read its kinda hard to just guess since the MAP is now handling everything.
well, fast forward, i plug my maf in, and i throw codes 0131 0151 (front 02 sensors). this codes are only when i floor it and it goes over 60+mph and about 4500Krpms or higher, in other words, when i race....
anyways, i emailed him and he said that i am supposed to leave the maf connected something about dual tune or something thru efilive? unless i misunderstood him. anyways, i got a new maf, and i put it on, and plugged it in, and still the same codes....
what i dont undertand, why does it throw the front 02 sensor codes when i PLUG the maf, but not when i leave it UNPLUGGED.?? shouldt it throw the 02 code all the time, regardless if the maf is connected or not??
please guys, i need your help, im really at wits ends, i ran a 12.5 and put on rear adj shocks, drop springs, and some skinnies in the front and i went to a 13.0, and everyone tells me cus of the SD tune

If its a SD tune, the maf will be messing with the fueling, that might have something to do with the errors.
Temps will affect your times anyway with or without the maf. Intake temps are used for SD too. Just look at the corrections dyno's do for IAT variances.
Id leave it unplugged, even replace with a piece of straight pipe, you should then find even more power.

Ping jesse he will square you away. the SD tune has nothing to do with your times there can be a lot of factors that contribute to that. From your first post there seems to be a lot of information missing. Did you ask him for a SD tune and if you did why did you plug the maf bac in ?
no, i didnt ask him for a SD tune. i kept on running 13.0s@101 one day i cleaned my maf, thinking it was dirty, and i ran a 12.6! so i was guess it was dirty, then a week later i notice i left my maf was UNPLUGGED, then i emailed jesse and asked him then he told me it was SD tune, he never told me before, nor did i ask for it.

He probably said you were running in SD - which is what you were doing if the MAF was unplugged. Not sure about the codes - 101, 102, or 103 would make more sense with the MAF unplugged. Give Jessie a call and I'm sure he will straighten you out.
