Default Can I buy?

I am going to be swapping in a LS1 T56 combo into my 68 Camaro and I plan on using the LS6 Heads, Cam, Intake and MAF..in order to avoid custom computer tuning can I just buy the LS6 PCM direct from GM...if so does anyone have a part number?

Any help is greatly appreciated

Thanks in advance!!

P.S. Would you recommend going this route or taking a different approach with the Computer, thanks again!

I would just use the LS1 PCM if you already have it. The tuning will work just fine with the LS6 cam and heads. The LS6 intake comes on the 2001 and 2002 LS1 engines. I believe someone said the LS6 PCM is not compatible with the LS1 wiring harness anyway.

The y-body & the f-body pcm's are not interchangable.

It costs around $450 for custom PCM tuning. You could do it yourself by buying LS1edit for $550 plus $200 for Autotap. Although this second option is more expensive, you will be able to make tuning adjustments at will as you change your car's setup.
