SES Code

My 2001 Camaro SS has a DTC #430. What do I need to look for?

PS: Where in LS-1 edit can I delete the rear O2 sensors?

I think it's your after cat O2 sensor on bank 2. That's the DTC anyway. Catalyst warm up below threshold....

P0430 is Catalyst System Low Efficiency Bank 2. Make sure the post cat (passenger side) sensor is on tight, wires look good, no exhaust leak, not rattling. Most likely it's a bad cat (stock cats are covered under the federal emissions warranty for 8 yrs/80K). You can also try swapping the rear 02's from side to side and see if the code changes to P0420, but my money is on a bad cat.

Thanks for the info. Iwill swap 02s and see if the code changes. If it looks like it might be a Cat I will take it to a dealer, since I am under 80,000.
